On March 8, 2008, Foothill Unity Center hosted an Italian-themed luncheon for approximately 100 of the volunteers that help make our programs possible.

Thanks to the over 30,000 hours of volunteer help, in the year 2007, Foothill Unity Center...

• Distributed nearly 2,052,270 pounds of food; 15,763 food orders; 100,000+ after school snacks
• Gave 3,779 bags of clothing and household items
• Gave out 3,314 bus tokens and 1,309 taxi vouchers
• Gave gas and electric bill assistance to 406 families valued at $45,508
• Gave out over 3,500 bag lunches to homeless men, women and children
• Provided 965 client nights in a motel to homeless families and seniors
• Provided holiday toys and clothing for over 1,600 children
• Prepared nearly 1,000 children for Back to School
• Over the last 5 years an average of over 90% of every dollar has gone directly to client programs
• and much, much more..

with love and dignity to over 2,200 unduplicated low-income families.
